Woodfield HOA & Titan International………..We are committed to your safety
Hello, and welcome once again to Signal 14 – the Law Enforcement/Security communication code for information.
First I would like to once again introduce myself, my name is Brian Bachar and I am the Security Director for Titan International here at Woodfield. I have been at Woodfield for almost 4 years and I am always on-site and available at the main gatehouse located at the Yamato Road entrance. You may call me at 997-9975 if you have any questions or concerns. Titan’s main objective is to provide the Woodfield community with the finest service commensurate with such a wonderful, family oriented community.
In order to help keep you and your Woodfield neighbors as safe and secure as possible, please take the following steps to assist us in that endeavor.
1. Always set your home alarm system when leaving or retiring for the evening. Remember, even if you are running out for just a few minutes it is important that you set your alarm.
2. Always lock your doors, windows and sliders. Don’t assume they are locked, check and make sure.
3. Never give your 4-digit security code to non-occupants of your home. This may include your housekeeper
Update your permanent guest list as often as possible. Current information helps keep the community safe .
5. When entering Woodfield through the resident bar code lane, please drive slowly and be aware if anyone is following you (piggybacking) through the gate. If you experience this when entering the community please notify security immediately 997-9975.
6. Always lock and secure your vehicle. Don’t leave valuables out in plain view, this promotes theft.
7. Develop & practice a fire or emergency evacuation plan with your family.
(Emphasize your plan with the younger and older members of your family)
8. Keep your garage door closed when not in use. Valuables can be visible from the street for others to be tempted. (Vendors, Guests ,Etc.)
Remember if you see any suspicious activity; please call the Security Dispatch Center (Yamato Gatehouse)
997-9975 immediately.
I would also like to thank all the residents for their overwhelming support of our efforts and the support of the “Titan International Hurricane Team” through both “Frances” & “Jeanne”. The “Team” stayed on duty throughout the duration of the two storms. During the storm I was very proud of the dedication of the security team members and their willingness to work through the night. The team kept the roadways clear of debris so emergency vehicles could access all of the communities within Woodfield. At the same time, the Team was also clearing the sidewalks for pedestrians, manning the gatehouses to maintain proper security for our entranceways and receiving calls of possible emergency situations. Many officers went above and beyond the call of duty, choosing to stay on duty to ensure the best possible outcome for Woodfield during the storm crisis.
I would also like to thank Mr. Rick Coffin, Vice-President of the Woodfield HOA at the time, for his very hard work. He was right along side of us during the storm and cutting through debris and clearing the roadways. Woodfield should be proud to have such a caring and dedicated person on the Woodfield HOA Board.
Sincerely, Director of Security, Brian Bachar
